In compliance with CBN and NDIC regulations and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws:
- We require Know-Your-Customer (KYC) documentation such as a valid ID, BVN, utility bill, and other verifiable information.
- Provest may verify information through third-party systems or government databases.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if your information cannot be verified or is associated with suspicious activity.
5. Account Use and Restrictions
You may not:
- Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the platform.
- Use bots, spiders, or automated systems to interfere with the platform.
We may monitor your usage and enforce penalties, including suspension or legal action.
6. Interest Rates, Fees, and Charges
- All loan or investment services are subject to applicable interest rates, fees, and penalties, which will be disclosed upfront.
- Provest reserves the right to review and revise fees subject to regulatory guidelines.
- Late repayments on loans may incur penalties as stipulated in your loan agreement.
7. Repayment, Default, and Recovery
- Loan repayment schedules are binding and enforceable.
- Late payments may attract penalties or interest recalculations.
- In the event of default, Provest may initiate recovery processes including:
- Engagement of third-party debt collectors
- Reporting to credit bureaus (CRC)
- Legal actions or asset seizure (where applicable)
8. Marketing Communication & Opt-out
You may receive transactional, promotional, or service-related communications via SMS, email, or in-app notifications. You may opt out of promotional messages by following the unsubscribe instructions or emailing us at [insert contact email].
9. Data Privacy and Protection
Provest complies with the Nigerian Data Protection Regulation (NDPR). Your personal and financial data will be:
- Collected lawfully and with your consent.
- Used for purposes such as KYC, service delivery, compliance, and marketing (if consented).
- Stored securely for a minimum of three (3) years.
- Never sold or shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

10. Platform Availability and Downtime

11. Intellectual Property
All content on the platform—including logos, software, graphics, and texts—is the property of Provest Limited and protected under Nigerian intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use or reproduction is strictly prohibited.
12. Dispute Resolution
- Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved amicably through mediation first.
- If mediation fails, disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, Cap A18 LFN 2004.
- You agree not to initiate any class-action proceedings against Provest.
13. Termination of Service
Provest reserves the right to:
- Suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time with or without notice, particularly in cases of fraud or breach of these Terms.
- Retain user data under regulatory requirements even after termination.
14. Amendments

15. Governing Law
These Terms and all related services are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and applicable financial regulations by the CBN, NDIC, NITDA, and other relevant authorities.
